e-Science All Hands Conference 2-4 September 2004

The Integrative Biology project participated in the 2004 e-Science All Hand Conference at the University of Nottingham. We demonstrated running a simulation of breast tissue deformation using the National Grid Service with visualisation of the resulting dataset on a stereo workstation at the conference. We presented two papers, one providing a general overview of progress on the project (PDF), the other discussing the experience of the project in gathering requirements (PDF). The project also received a bronze award in the competition for the best e-science website.
